Digital Marketing in the times of Coronavirus Lockdown - Automobiles,

The novel coronavirus outbreak is causing a huge impact on people’s lives, families and communities. As the marketing response continues to develop, we know that marketers are facing significant challenges to which they need to respond rapidly. Many businesses are practically shut. So, what do we at Futuready Media recommend they do in these times?

In this lockdown, businesses are falling into 3 categories:

  • Temporarily shut down
  • Partially operational (e-commerce and essential services) or
  • Working remotely

Digital communication needs to factor in these 3 scenarios.

Businesses that are shut for the lockdown period, say automobiles or one of our clients Autorounders, a premium car garage can cater to their existing customers by providing knowhow.

We did a few informative posts to emphasise car care in these times.

Amongst the manufacturers, Renault did some cool ads by just rewinding their existing ads and asking everyone to stay home. Nissan Middle East's latest campaign, “Ode to Empty Roads”, decided it is more important to stay home and be safe.
