Jubilant Biosys
Innovation in Action
When Your Audience Includes a PhD Chemist, an Institutional Investor and a VP of Drug Discovery
Jubilant Biosys is a contract research organisation providing drug discovery and development services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide. The business operates at the intersection of science, commerce and capital, which means its digital presence has to communicate credibly to three very different audiences at the same time.
A pharma company's head of discovery evaluating CRO partners is looking for evidence of scientific capability: specific assay technologies, compound classes handled, therapeutic area experience and track record with comparable projects. A PhD chemist considering a career move is asking whether the science being done is serious enough to be worth their time. An institutional investor reviewing the company's growth story wants financial structure, portfolio breadth and forward trajectory.
None of those visitors wants the same thing, and none of them should have to wade through information meant for the others to find what they came for.
A Reputation the Website Hadn't Caught Up To
Jubilant Biosys had earned a strong reputation in its industry through the quality of its work. The internal capabilities were real and the scientific track record was genuine. But the digital presence had not kept pace with the business. The website presented the organisation adequately without giving any of those three audiences the specific evidence they needed to move from mild interest to wanting an actual conversation.
The investor relations section was particularly thin, a real limitation given the company's growth plans and the importance of capital market credibility to its trajectory.
How we
solved it.
The website redesign structured the architecture around three separate user journeys, each with its own navigation path, its own primary content and its own conversion action.
For the scientific and client audience, the design language was clean, data forward and precise. Real project data was foregrounded rather than general capability claims. Assay types, compound classes, therapeutic area depth and client industry breadth were all made visible because these are the things a technical evaluator actually uses to form a judgment.
More than 25 thought leadership articles were developed across the engagement, authored under the names of Jubilant Biosys scientists or as organisational perspectives on topics the scientific community genuinely cares about. Advances in assay technologies, commentary on drug discovery productivity and insights from internal research practice all served SEO goals while demonstrating that the organisation participates actively in the scientific conversations its target clients are part of.
The careers section was rebuilt to communicate what makes Jubilant Biosys a scientific environment worth choosing. Instrumentation quality, therapeutic area breadth and development pathways for researchers at different career stages were all given proper context. Role listings were given substance rather than being presented as bare requirements lists. Career page applications grew by 80% from a more senior candidate pool.

The Jubilant Biosys
outcome.
Website engagement doubled. Investor section traffic tripled. Career applications grew by 80%. These three improvements feed each other in sequence: better digital credibility attracts better talent, better talent enables better science, better science wins better contracts, and better contracts make the investor story more compelling. It compounds the same way Glenmark's HCP digital engagement compounds across multiple therapeutic areas, and the same way Charak Pharma's brand authority compounds in the health and wellness category.
